With all AI announcements, many have missed many upcoming features, such as improved WSL management.

This isn’t anything new, as we knew for some time thatWSL is getting GUI support, but this was the first time it was shown in action asWindows Central writes.

Microsoft’s Kayla Cinnamon tweeted that WSL will have better integration with Windows.

This includes the dedicated settings app, the ability to manage distros through the Dev Home app, as well the ability to install WSL through winget which will make deploying easier.

These are welcome additions, and having a dedicated settings application will make the management of distros easier for first-time users without having to use the command line.

Overall, these are some great improvements, and we can’t wait to see them in action.
