According to the latest reports, Adobe Illustrator now natively supports Windows on ARM devices. Users of gadgets such as Surface Pro 11 or Laptop 7 will find this very exciting since they can now access Adobe Illustrator in its beta version straight from their machines.
Adobe Illustrator, if you are not aware, is a key tool in image editing, particularly for scalable vector graphics. Its availability on Windows on ARM implies that the main Creative Cloud applications are nearly fully transitioned for this architecture – Photoshop and Lightroom (already ARM-native) and now Illustrator.
The last big name missing from this list is Premiere Pro but there have been hints about an ARM-native version coming soon too.

The method for seeing if an app is running natively or in emulation is also simple. Open Task Manager, go to the Details tab and look at the Architecture column. This quick check will determine which essential apps are fully optimized for your ARM device.
The fact that Adobe Illustrator now offers ARM-native support shows a positive trend towards ARM compatibility for heavier applications and probably other software. This indicates that the appeal of using an ARM-based PC will keep increasing as these big-name programs start to fully exploit its benefits.
