In the busy tech world, Microsoft has made a major jump with Windows 11 version 24H2 KB5039239 – also called the 2024 update. But not everyone will get this update immediately.

This fresh software is being released forCopilot+ PCs, and it raises questions about when or if other devices can receive this change, too. People and technology lovers are now excited and interested in Microsoft’s new step.

Windows 11, version 24H2 is targeting Copilot+ PCs devices and devices that were previously using Windows Insider 24H2 builds.

What’s new in this update? Initially, it tackles an issue that could make a big noise. When you connect a Bluetooth device, sometimes the volume is set to maximum without warning. Picture how much surprise and potential ear discomfort such a scenario may cause!

Moreover, it solves an issue that stopped games utilizing BattlEye anti-cheat from being played on Arm64 devices. But there’s more to the story.

Microsoft is also improving the Copilot experience on Windows by allowing it to act like a usual app by resizing, moving, and snapping the window feature. This is a significant step towards integrating AI more seamlessly into the operating system.

However, why the exclusivity? The update is now available under KB5039239 and build 26100.863, but it can be accessed only by people with Copilot+ devices. This leaves some parts of the Windows community in a difficult situation because they are using Intel and AMD PCs.

If they are very excited about testing Windows 11 24H2 KB5039239, it is suggested that they try the Release Preview Channel. However, this version of Windows 11 might have some bugs.

For gamers and app users, the news is a blend of optimistic and pessimistic. The update pledges to resolve some problems in the gaming realm, but we have information that there’s an issue with downloading and playing Roblox on Arm devices from the Microsoft Store. What’s the workaround? Downloading the game directly from Roblox’s website.

Intel and AMD PC users might feel left out, but there is hope for them. Microsoft plans to make Windows 11 24H2 available for these devices in late September or early October. Be patient for now, as the existing preview versions could lack some smoothness in the experience.

In the bigger picture, this update shows that Microsoft continues to improve Windows 11. They are working on AI connections and improving users’ experiences.

However, the slow release of updates and current restrictions for devices without Copilot+ show how hard it is to ensure that new changes work smoothly across different kinds of Windows PC ecosystems.
