If Windows 11 feels slow and sluggish, you should know that it is. Microsoft plans to address all these issues with the release of the 24H2 update later this year.

According to Windows Latest, the Redmond-based tech giant knows about these particular problems dragging Windows 11 down. The company even took steps to uncover its source back in June when it releasedBuild 26100.994 to the Release Preview Channel.

This update addresses an issue believed to be the underlying cause of some Insiders noticing stutters in some animations recently (dropping frames), particularly with Task View.

The bugs in Windows 11 are truly irritating, making using this operating system a difficult experience. However, with the upcoming Windows 11 24H2 update, these problems are hoped to be resolved finally. Microsoft’s approach addresses these problems by making cumulative updates available to improve Windows 11’s performance.

This includes fixing and enhancing the animations that annoy many users. If you have been experiencing irritation with how the Quick Settings interface opens partially or loads slowly, this problem could soon be solved. The 24H2 update pledges to open Quick Settings quicker and with better speed, showing a big advancement from earlier versions.

If Microsoft wants Windows 11 to gain market share (and it seems the operating system is finally experiencing a surge), then the company needs to address these issues. With the upcoming 24H2 update, Microsoft is working towards refining the OS to be more user-friendly and effective.

For those waiting, the Windows 11 24H2 update is planned to start in September/October. Until then, ensure you update to 23H2, asWindows 11 21H2, and 22H2 will reach their EOS this October.
