Microsoft announced that the company opened the Beta Channel for Windows Insiders with Windows 10 installed. This will allow them to test new features for Windows 10, version 22H2, with Insiders before releasing them to the public.

In an official blog post, Microsoft wrote:

If you are an Insider on Windows 10 today and want to try out new features for Windows 10 when we have them, we recommend that you join or switch to the Beta Channel. You can do this by going toSettings > Update & Security > Windows Insider Program, clicking on the current Insider Channel selection to expand and see the full list of Insider Channels, and choosing Beta Channel.

This means you only need to go to the Update & Security section in the Settings app, then select the Windows Insider Program to choose the Beta Channel.

Furthermore, the Redmond tech giant has divided the information into two parts: one is for the people whose device meets system requirements for Windows 11, and the other is for those whose devices do not meet the requirements. Here is the breakdown:

Features in Beta Channel will be rolled out using the  Control Feature Rollout technology. If you want to be one of the first Insiders to get the new features, you can turn on the Get the latest updates as soon as they’re available. You can find it underSettings >Update & Security> Windows Update

However, if you choose not to enable it, the new features will gradually roll out to your device. Microsoft also said that features and experiences included in the Beta Channel may never be released.
