Many users tend to lock their BIOS with a password to prevent others from changing their settings or accessing their system.
However, this protection can be bypassed, and all that is required is a couple of paper clips and some technical knowledge.
You can bypass the Toshiba laptop BIOS password with a paper clip
AsTom’s Hardware writes, it’s possible to bypass the BIOS password on the Toshiba Satellite with several paper clips and a parallel port.
Bob Pony on Twitter recently shared that he managed to bypass the BIOS password on his Toshiba laptop with this hack.

Bob used paperclips and he connected them to a parallel port in such a way to zap the BIOS on startup thus clearing the password.
While his approach does look a bit messy, someone also posted a diagram in which you can see how the parallel port lines were connected to achieve this.
This is a great way to bypass the BIOS password Toshiba Satellite, and if you’re having the same problem on your device, perhaps you should try looking for a diagram that matches your device.
