After rolling outTikTok Notes, the company is reportedly readying a new AI feature for the app that can clone your voice in only 10 seconds.TheSpAndroidwhichfirst reportedTikTok’s upcoming AI voice-cloning feature, spotted a few code strings that point towards the feature.
During the code digging, the news outlet found two references –TikTok Voice LibraryandCreate Your Voice with AI. So, it is clear that TikTok doesn’t have a specific name for the AI voice-cloning feature.

It also accessed the initial UI of the feature within the app and saw the terms and conditions forTikTok Voice Library.An alleged screenshot of the feature shared by the news outlet reads:
Create an AI version of your voice in just 10 seconds! You’ll be able to use it with text-to-speech in TikTok videos.
TikTok’s new AI voice-cloning feature will require you to record your voice in the app
It is worth noting that the AI voice-cloning will require recording your voice. As per the source, you’ll need to read out some text provided by the app to record your voice.
Notably,TheSpAndroidcouldn’t create any voice samples since no texts appeared in the app during the initial testing of the feature. When trying to record the voice manually by pressing the record button, the news outlet faced some unknown errors.
Your generated AI voice will remain private and can be deleted anytime from the voice library within the TikTok app. This will ensure your voice stays safe and no one can misuse it. That said, there’s no information on the official launch of the feature as we write.
Not to forget,TikTok recently asked for support from its usersas the latest bill might end its existence in the US. While the company is battling for its existence in its biggest market, it seems that isn’t stopping it from experimenting with new things in its app.
