Spotify’s first AI-powered feature,AI Playlist, quickly lists out a series of songs that match the vibe of your prompt, allows you to preview or remove them, and finally create a playlist. At its core, the idea is simple and effective!

At present, theAI Playlistfeature is not available to all. It has only been rolled out in theUnited KingdomandAustralia. Besides, sinceAI Playlistis in theBetaphase, we didn’t have high expectations from it. But as it turns out, we were wrong!

What we liked the most was the ability to refine the initially generated playlist. For instance, quick follow-up prompts likemore poporless upbeatwill revise the generated list of tracks instead of creating a new one altogether. These are just two examples. Considering its early stage, the only thingAI Playlistlacks at the moment is support for non-music prompts. For instance, if I want to create a playlist based on recent events, it’s not possible.

Besides, you may have trouble getting the best results from Spotify’sAI Playlistin the first few attempts or maybe for a day or so, but once you get the hang of the prompts, it will be a seamless experience. And you will be able to create a refined playlist in no time!
