After fixing many issues withthe first release of Edge 130, Microsoft has released an update to the Dev channel of its Edge browser, bringing it to version 130.0.2821.1. This update brings several small features and fixes for desktop and mobile browser versions.

The update adds a new ‘Theme Description’ and ‘Theme Type Label’ section to the browser’s settings and appearance page, allowing users to see more information about the themes they have installed.

Microsoft Edge 130.0.2821.1 also fixes an issue where the browser would crash after scanning a QR code during account transfer. The same problem was causing crashes on iOS when users tried to log out of their Microsoft account.

For macOS users, the update resolves a problem where three extra lines would appear in full-screen mode and issues with the ‘Pick a colour’ function in the theme settings.

Windows Experience Blog reports that Edge 130.0.2821.1 includes several other fixes as well. Here are some of the more noteworthy ones:

– Fixed an issue where clicking the site icon on the taskbar controller did not work after opening the site side pane from the sidebar and minimizing the browser. – Resolved an issue where the Add Split Screen option was missing from the toolbar and only available in the ‘More’ menu. – Fixed an issue where tabs displayed URLs in ‘Tab groups’ from the Favorites/Collections group. – Resolved an issue where Autofill was not working for coupons in the browser.

On Android, the update fixes a problem with tooltips displaying in the wrong location under the extensions menu and an issue where the browser title would incorrectly display as “Microsoft Edge First Run Experience” when users clicked on an Outlook link to open the browser. The update also fixes issues for iOS and Mac users.

If you’re a Dev channel user and haven’t seen the update, try closing and reopening Edge to trigger the download.
