If you’ve been thinking about playing Xbox One games such as Halo 5: Guardians, Rare Replay, or Forza Horizon 2, you might want to consider the new XWine1, a new Xbox One translation layer for Windows PCs.
According toan official announcement on Redditand supportedby more examples on X(formerly known as Twitter), XWine1 currently supports six fully playable games. Still, the developers behind it will focus on the following titles:
Other titles, such as Forza Motorsport 6, Forza Horizon 2, and Crossfire X, are in development to be supported on XWine1. According to the Reddit announcement, many more are coming.

However, it’s worth mentioning that XWine1 is not ready for public consumption for now, but it will be in the following months. The developers behind it stated that the project would most likely end up being open-source, allowing others to contribute and twitch the platform to support other titles.
On Reddit, at least, the reception to XWine1 has been overwhelmingly positive, a sign that people want to play Xbox One exclusives on Windows PC.
The developers have also shareda little clip on X, showcasing how XWine1 works. Unfortunately, this platform has no release date yet, but you can follow them on X.
