Last year, Microsoft announced the addition oforganizational messages in Microsoft Intune, allowing managers to edit and schedule organizational messages on Windows 11. They were also able to deliver messages in 15 languages and even configure fully customizable URL links.
Now, according to the latest entry in theMicrosoft 365 Roadmap, the Redmond-based tech giant is planning to release the organizational messages in the Microsoft 365 admin as well.
Microsoft is adding them in the Reports section of the 365 admin center, and managers and admins will have a variety of capabilities and features that will allow them to create new messages, review delivery reports, and so on.
Organizational messages allows enterprises to connect with their organization through customized messages, enabling them to engage directly within the Microsoft product experiences they use every day, like Windows Spotlight. Starting Spring 2024, Organizational messages will be found under the “Reports” section within the Microsoft 365 admin center and will include features for admins to centrally manage their tenant’s messages, create new messages, and review delivery reports.
The new organizational messages are life savers for IT managers and admins:they’re very easy to set up and use, enhance productivity, and reduce time spent on deploying and noticing employees about changes made in the organization.
According to the entry, they will be available globally to everyone, but Microsoft is conducting a preview first, which will take place in May 2024 (similar to the Microsoft Intune preview, last year), and a month later, in June 2024, they will be made available to all organizations.
Managers will also seea new Copilot reports sectionwithin the 365 admin center, starting next month, as Microsoft wants companies who know if the AI adoption is going as intended or not. Fortunately, regular employees will be protected by the newly updated report, as the new policies will show their usage in an anonymized mode.
