Microsoft recently released a sixth edition of their Cyber Signals, a cyber threat intelligence brief. The company shares its research results and insights about the current threats through it. This edition highlights the importance of securing AI to prevent state-sponsored cyber criminals from misusing it.
Cyber threats are becoming more frequent for various reasons, such as AI and technological advancements. Also, tech companies like Microsoft focus on AI development and features instead of improvingtheir security systems.

How are hackers using AI?

In addition, the company discovers more than 65 trillion cyber security signals daily. Microsoft uses various AI methods like threat detectors, behavioral analytics, and machine learning to find cyber threats. On top of that, cyber security experts use Zero Trust Models because they need constant verification.
Based on the Cyber Signals report, Microsoft uses AI to detect fake identities and social engineering. On top of that, experts use Copilot to enhance security by helping engineers and analysts work faster and more efficiently.
