AI is everywhere, and we already know that Microsoft is integrating Copilot into Windows 11 and all of its services.
It seems that other companies are following suit, and Stardock has just brought ChatGPT to your desktop.
Stardock brings ChatGPT to your desktop with DesktopGPT
If you’re not familiar with Stardock, it’s a company that brought usStart11among many other tools that allow you to customize Windows 11.
Stardock has moved away from the customization software asWindows Central writes, and it has brought us an AI assistant.
DesktopGPT comes with GPT-3.5 Turbo, GPT-4, and GPT-4 Turbo, and users can easily choose a model that is suitable for their needs.
The prompt is easily accessible with a single keystroke, allowing you to access the AI at any time. Unlike regular ChatGPT, this application comes with templates that you can use for common tasks.
Of course, you can create your own templates to reuse specific prompts quickly. You can also refine a response just as easily, just with a few keystrokes.
This is a great tool that brings ChatGPT to your fingerprints, and the templating support makes it stand out from other tools on the market.
Sadly, DesktopGPT isn’t available as a standalone application, and you can get it only as a part of the Object Dock bundle.
In other AI-related news,OpenAI and Stack Overflow partnershipwill make debugging a lot easier in the future.
That’s not all, asOpenAI is ready to launch a ChatGPT search enginethat will take on Google search.
