Recently, Microsoft has been working on improvements, adding new features and bringing the old features back into the Edge browser. Redmond tech giant added the ability to use Google Search from the desktop, removed the automatic password-saving feature, and added theSave as PDFback.
This time, the company is working on making deleting browsing history on Edge easier than before.@Leopeva64, a popular Windows leaker on X(formerly known as Twitter), mentioned that when you access the Recently closed section in Edge’s redesigned Tab actions menu, you will get options to delete entries of your browsing history.
In his post, he mentioned:
Some changes to Edge’s revamped Tab actions menu, Microsoft has added options to open history or clear browsing data in the “Recently closed” section, they’ve also added the buttons to delete individual entries or entire windows.
This feature is not currently available in the stable version of Edge. In the stable version, when you go to History (Ctrl + H) and navigate to the Recently closed tab, you only get two options: Open in a new tab or Open in a new window.
For more actions, go to the All tab, select the pages you want to delete, and click the Delete button. You can also click Clear browsing data and get redirected to the Settings page wherein you can delete history from the Last hour, last day, last week, or choose a custom range.
Google Chrome has also been working on a similar feature recently, wherein you can delete the browsing history from the past 15 minutes.
