New Snapdragon CPUs are gaining popularity, but everybody wants to know how they compare to other models on the market, so today we’re going to compare the Snapdragon X Elite vs Intel Core Ultra 7 and see which one is better.

Hardware comparison

Judging by the specs, Intel outperforms X Elite by the number of caches and maximum frequency, but X Elite has better memory bandwidth, almost twice as much cache, as well as lower maximum TDP.

Performance

When it comes to performance, according toCPU Benchmark, the Intel Core Ultra 7 155H outperforms the Snapdragon X Elite X1E-84-100 in CPU Mark rating by 1.5%.

However, when it comes to single-thread performance, Snapdragon has a 9.8% advantage.

Judging by the Geekbench performance, Snapdragon X Elite outperforms Intel Core Ultra 7 in both multi-core and single-core results. The difference is about 18% in multi-core and about 16% in single-core performance in favor of Snapdragon X Elite.

As for Cinebench 2024 CPU single-core results, Snapdragon had a 36.7% single-core advantage and a 38% advantage in multi-core results.

Is Snapdragon Elite better than Intel?

Even though the Intel Core Ultra 7 155H has higher frequency and more cores, the Snapdragon X Elite outperforms it in almost all tests, so it’s safe to say that the Snapdragon X Elite is a better CPU.
