Amidst a changing technological landscape, Slack takes a notable step forward by launching its beta edition for Windows on ARM devices. This action signifies more than just “being up-to-date;” it signifies the future of computing.
Following the arrival of version 4.38.87, Slack can be accessed as an original app on Windows computers that uses ARM processors. Users who are excited to try this beta version can get it from Slack’s official website. The promise that it will be available on the Microsoft Store soon is also there.

This shows the direction of computer use that focuses on being energy-efficient but still strong. Computers with ARM processors are known for their long-lasting battery life and efficiency in performance — they’re stirring up the tech world.

Slack’s choice of backing Windows on ARM shows the increasing number of apps providing native ARM64 versions. As more applications join this, the possibility of Windows on ARM matching its x86 alternatives is getting closer.
