For all PlayStation players out there, we have got exciting news. PlayStation trophies would soon debut on PC with the release ofGhost of Tsushima Director’s Cut!

Confirmed by PlayStation in apost on X(formerly Twitter)and anofficial blog,Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cutwill be the first game to support the PlayStation overlay that offersTrophies,Friends list,SettingsandProfileon the PC.

FYI if you unlocked Trophies on Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut on PS5, when you connect the same PlayStation Network account to the PC version you will have those Trophies also unlocked there.Full details:https://t.co/O7rYjzcZX4

Accessible via the in-game menu and the dedicatedShift+F1keyboard shortcut, the PlayStation overlay will be available whenGhost of Tsushima Director’s Cutreleases onMay 16, 2024. But you will have to sign in using a PlayStation Network account.

The trophy set forGhost of Tsushima Director’s Cuton PC is the same as that for PlayStation 5.

PlayStation hasn’t yet shared any update about the functionality coming to any previously released or future titles. However, many in the gaming industry suggest that all future PlayStation games on PC will support the overlay and allow you to collect trophies.

Some excited about trophies on PC, while others express concerns

When we tried finding out how PlayStation players responded to the change, most were excited about the prospects.

Though some did express concerns, primarily with players manipulating the algorithm for trophies, due to fewer restrictions on PCs.

We will have to wait and find out whether Sony enforces any additional measures to prevent players from manipulating the systems.

For now, PlayStation trophies coming to PC is a big development and in the right direction, especially for the proud trophy hunters!
