ChatGPT is used daily by millions of users around the world, however, the service seems to be having problems today.
ChatGPT seems to be down for many, so let’s investigate what’s behind this outage.
ChatGPT is down for many, OpenAI confirms
OpenAI went down today and according toDowndetector, more than 2600 users reported that the service is down for them.
Even theOpenAI status pagesays the same, and according to OpenAI the issue is identified and the developers are working on a solution.
Reddit userswere quick to point out this problem:
I realised that my GPT4o option is missing. There is only 3.5 and 4. Someone know why? It was still there yesterday
For others, ChatGPT is down completely:
Mine is gone completely, I cant even see 3.5 or 4 or even get a response. I can type it in the message box but enter does nothing. And i know my subscription is good.
We’re having the same problem, and the problems persisted even while using a VPN and a different Cloudflare server.
Hopefully, OpenAI will fix this problem soon. Stay tuned for updates!
Update:The issue has been resolved and ChatGPT is now fully functional.
In other news,OpenAI is training a new language model that will replace ChatGPT 4.
