Microsoft released a newXbox Update Previewto the Alpha ring, which promised you to find better deals from the Microsoft Store or even the home screen or search. However, for now, only some of the Insiders will be able to notice this change. Here is what it said in theofficial blog:

Finding a great deal shouldn’t be difficult, so we’ve made it easier. With today’s update, a random subset of users will notice an improved experience, making it easier to identify sales and take advantage of them. In addition to searching the Microsoft Store, more information regarding sales will now be visible when selecting a game on Home and when searching from Home or the guide.

Furthermore, a new Xbox Wireless Controller firmware version was made available, including several fixes and enhancements. Here is the list of changes done:

If your controller needs an update, you will get a prompt to install it once you have it turned on and connected to your console.

However, you can also open the Xbox Accessories app to instrall the update manually if you accidentally missed the notification.

To ensure you get the latest updates as they release, turn on Keep my console up to date. However, if don’t prefer that, you can also press the Xbox button on your controller and navigate to Profile & system > Settings > System > Updates to install them manually.

If you are wondering how to become an Xbox Insider, you must know that the Alpha Skip-Ahead ring on Xbox is an exclusive testing group, and you need to enroll to get the pre-release versions. As these builds might be prone to errors, Microsoft keeps it invite-only.

However, if you are interested in joining the group, navigate toXbox Insider Hub>Activities>Available>Joining new rings from your console, then complete the survey.
