The Windows 11 Moment 5 Update was first released onFebruary 29, 2024, for people who manually install updates from the Windows Settings app, but it was an optional non-security update
However, starting April 9 with the April 2024 Patch Tuesday updates, the Moment 5 update has become mandatory and available for all Windows 11 users.
Unlike the previous iterations, Moment 5 is smaller and has introduced a handful of features likeSnap LayoutsandWindows Spotlight.

You can install the update manually by launching theSettingsapp. Once there, navigate toWindows Update, and clickCheck for Updates.
However, if you want to install the update manually, you can go toMicrosoft Update Catalog, search for KB5036893, and clickDownload. Then, run the downloaded file and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the process.
