Microsoft is making a huge change (or rather an improvement, we’d say) to its Viva Amplify platform: users will be able to automatically seek approval for their campaign from managers or higher-ups without having to interact with them directly.
According to the latest entry in the Microsoft 365 Roadmap, the new required approval, which is set to be released to Microsoft Viva this month, will greatly streamline workflows, permissions, and compliances in Viva.
As Microsoft mentions, the new required approval feature will ensure that skateholders can easily give their consent and approval to the way a content campaign adheres to organizational standards. This, on the other hand, will ensure that there are no risks and errors with any campaign.
The best thing about this new setting coming this month to Microsoft Viva is that it is optional, so a user can choose to apply it to a campaign or not. However, the Redmond-based tech giant recommends keeping it on to ensure your organization reaches a significant level of quality and security when it comes to the content you’re putting out.
Here’s whatthe entry says:
Coming soon, you’ll be able to require approval at the campaign level for all your Amplify publications. The require approval feature brings compliance, accountability, and workflows to Lightweight Approvals in Amplify. By enabling required approval for a campaign, stakeholders can ensure that all campaign content adheres to organizational standards and receive the necessary approval before publishing, thus minimizing risks and errors. You can require approval at the campaign level so that all Amplify publications within the campaign go through the approval process before the content is published. This is an optional setting that a user can choose to apply to a campaign. By requiring approval, organizations can apply a significant level of quality and security to their content, ensuring every piece of content aligns perfectly with their standards and expectations before it is published.
Speaking of content, Viva is also gettinga Copilot-based summarization and assistancethat will allow members to re-use existing content for different campaigns.
