Microsoft Teams will enhance the Teams Rooms on Windows to support multiple camera views for users. According tothe latest entry to the Microsoft 365 Roadmap, the enhancement will also go live on Desktop and Mac devices.

With this feature, IT admins and managers play a crucial role in setting up four single-stream cameras. This setup offers a comprehensive view of the meeting, benefiting remote attendees and colleagues.

This feature will give those attending remotely access to each camera so they can follow all the action happening in the Teams Room. They can also toggle between views if they want a certain perspective.

Teams Room on Windows will support up to four single stream cameras that will be shown to remote meeting attendees. With multiple camera view, remote meeting attendees will have the ability to follow all the action in the room and manually toggle between views from the room that they want to see.

This capability is useful for those working remotely because it creates a seamless experience in hybrid meetings so attendees can feel they’re attending them in person.

The Redmond-based tech giant has been interested in offering as many solutions as possible to this idea, such as the hybrid meeting. The company is about flexibility, fromintelligent shared spacestoMicrosoft Mesh.

What do you think about the new multiple-camera views coming to Microsoft Teams?
