Microsoft Sway, the Redmond-based tech giant’s service for creating newsletters, presentations, or various forms of documentation, is currently malfunctioning to the degree that it’s unusable for dozens of users.
Apparently, Sway is not uploading nor downloading anything, with someusers claimingto be unable to contact support or even get it to function again.Others are claimingMicrosoft Sway doesn’t fully load when accessed on a browser and doesn’t properly connect to servers.
Even more, it seems that the service does not function even if you try to access it from browsers other than your default one or other accounts. It’s not working in incognito mode, either. Microsoft Sway is also unable to open older newsletters, which is frustrating for many users who are relying on the service to create their weekly newsletters.
Hello,
I’m having difficulties accessing Sway to produce our weekly newsletter. The browser just hangs, rarely connecting and then not loading fully.
This is happening:-
– on separate accounts
– on different browsers
– in private mode
which is leading me to think there may be an issue at the service end. Please could someone confirm or suggest what else I can try?Many thanks in advance
ETA: Older issues of newsletters are not loading on different devices, either.
In the forum, Microsoft, through an advisor, confirmed the issues with Microsoft Sway. From not loading to loading too hard or not properly displaying elements on the webpage, the tech giant says the service’s server might temporarily be the culprit.
So what can you do? For now, if you encounter the issue, you should contact the admin in your Microsoft 365 tenancy and let them know about it. If you are the admin, open a support ticket to Microsoft and let them know. You can do sohere.
