During the Build event,Microsoft unveiled its Copilot + PC devicesas well as newSnapdragon-based Surface laptops.

The new devices offer some incredible features, such asWindows Recall, but can they handle gaming? AsWindows Central writes, during the Build event, Microsoft showcased Baldur’s Gate 3 on new Surface devices running at around 30FPS unlocked.

The company also showcased Borderlands on Windows on ARM using the Auto Super Resolution feature that renders games in lower resolution and then upscales the image using AI to boost the framerate.

While these results can’t compare to gaming laptops and PCs, it’s great to see that ARM CPUs can handle gaming at 720p or 1080p.

Regarding compatibility, Microsoft says that over 1000 games should work at 1080p at 30FPS, which should be enough for light gaming.

Overall, Windows on ARM seems to be a success, and withAdobe pledging to bring its software to Windows on ARM, we might see more software and games on this platform.
