As you may know, Microsoft Rewards is a program that allows users to earn Reward points by completing tasks. There is a maximum number of points that can be earned daily (and we havea guidethat will show you how to do it), and it involves browsing the Internet with Bing or playing games on your Xbox console.
Last year, the Redmond-based tech giant introduced a new Microsoft Rewards platform especially tailored for the Xbox app, and Xbox users can enlist in the program and earn points by just playing games.
It’s well-known that the program has several frustrating UI problems: for instance, many users complained thatMicrosoft Rewards doesn’t automatically check off the first task, once it’s completed.
However, it seems that Microsoft is improving the platform. On the Xbox app, Microsoft Rewards now displays additional information to let users know about their progress.
The quest menu has a progress bar, the number of points earned once completed, a button to claim the rewards, and additional info about the quest at hand, allowing users to understand what they need to do to complete it.
Brenna Duffit, Senior Software Engineer at Xbox Rewards, implemented the change, as you can see in thetweet below, and users are quite happy about it.

The changes should now be live in the Xbox Microsoft Rewards program, allowing users to keep track of their quests more easily.
It’s also worth mentioning that apparently, the Redmond-based tech giant has beengradually lowering the pointsyou can monthly by almost 40%. We don’t know the reason why the company is doing it, but several users have noticed it, and it’s happening everywhere: in the US, UK, or Brazil.
On the other hand, other users have noticed an increase in monthly earned points compared to last year. Ultimately, it’s always preferable to join the program as you can earn points by simply gaming on your Xbox console.
And who doesn’t love that?
