Microsoft recently released a new 2408 update for Alpha Skip-Ahead XboxInsiders, bringing the version to 2408.240331-2200. The update included background improvements, ensuring a stable build for Xbox consoles.

In the post, the Redmond tech giant mentioned that they also released a new version of Xbox Wireless Controller firmware, which introduced fixes, includingimprovements to thumbstick calibration and unexpected disconnections when using a wired headset.

If your controller needs an update, you will be prompted to install it when it is turned on and establish a connection with your console. However, if you don’t, you can launch theXbox Accessoriesapp and update it manually.

Microsoft also talked about the known issues related to audio & networking and assured that the team is working to find a fix for them.

The Alpha Skip-Ahead ring on Xbox is an exclusive testing group; you have to enroll to get the pre-release versions. Given the potential for errors in these builds, Microsoft only restricts access to them by invitation.
