Windows Insiders are in for a treat, as Microsoft released the most recent preview ISO images for Windows 11, version 24H2, and now clean installations can be performed.

Microsoft’s fresh ISO images for Windows 11 24H2 carry version 26100.1150 and are made to fit x86 and ARM64 structures, so it doesn’t matter if your computer uses an Intel or AMD chipset.

However, you must still activate these preview images with a real license key. It’s just a small obstacle for developers and enthusiasts who are already part of the Windows world. However, people who wish to try without making any long-term commitment can use official virtual machines from Microsoft, but they have an expiration date set on July 15th.

For those who are quick to embrace new technology, especially those who ownCopilot+ PCs, Windows 11 version 24H2 is being released. The others, particularly individuals with Intel or AMD setups, might have to wait for some time. It could be until September or October before they get it.

Notably, Microsoft is considering the lifecycle of its operating system in a future perspective. By launching Windows 11 24H2, they are getting ready to leave behind previous versions such as 21H2 and 22H2. This means that these versions will cease receiving updateswithin less than 90 days, so users might want to upgrade as soon as possible.

The most recent ISO release from Microsoft can be seen as more than just another regular update. It shows a move towards making sure every person using Windows, no matter their hardware type, has the opportunity to utilize the latest features and security precautions.

You can download the Windows 11 24H2 ISOfrom here.

Whether you are a developer, tech lover, or enjoy having your PC work well, this update is for you. So, have you planned your installation yet? Let us know if it all worked well for you!
