According toBusiness Insider, Microsoft reorganized the teams managed by Jared Spataro, the head of AI at Work. Also, the company will relocate some employees to a new Copilot and “future of work” team. Additionally, Colette Stallbaumer will be the general manager of the new group.

Jared Spataro said the company is going through a significant change, as it did in 2022 for the Teams app. However, Microsoft will continue to focus on and improve the software even after the structural changes. Yet, it is uncertain how their decision will impact the app’s development.

Frank Shaw, Microsoft spokesman confirmed that the company will continue focusing on the Teams app. In addition,Copilot in Teamsis one of the features most customers use. On top of that, the app had 300 million monthly active users in 2023. After all, it offers many features for hybrid and remote work.
