Microsoft added new options to its PC Manager app. If you didn’t know, the tool has various features and some Windows functions. For example, you can use it to free up space, boost your performance, do health checks, block popups, and more. The newest feature, Files Cleanup, makes PC Manager similar to CCleaner.
A small group of Microsoft engineers from Asia developed the PC Manager app because they saw an opportunity to create a better tool than the ones available on the market. After all, most of us used, at least once, a PC health checker, a cleaning app, or a boosting tool. So, there was a need for an app that holds all of these features together.
What does the File Cleanup feature of the PC Manager do?
The File Cleanup feature added to theMicrosoft PC Managerhelps free up your memory and boost your RAM. Also, you can use it to clean your device for more storage space. Additionally, you can use this feature to manage download files, look for the large ones, and delete duplicates.
Microsoft’s PC Manager can search through all your storage partitions. Thus, if you have forgotten any large files, the tool can find them. Besides, it can categorize most files. On top of that, the app opens a new window for most of its features.
The new version of the app has additional quality-of-life improvements. For example, it has a dark mode option and a better UI. Also, the tool has a feature to enable an updated Desktop toolbar with an incorporated Bing search bar.
You can download the PC Manager directly from theMicrosoft Store. Moreover, it has plenty of positive reviews. By the way, the app hasplenty of features. So, if you are curious, check them out.
Ultimately, the PC Manager app from Microsoft is a potential competitor for CCleaner due to its new Files Cleanup function. In addition, it brings various features in one place.
