Microsoft Loop has been an essential tool for collaboration and content management, and now it’s even more efficient. Microsoft 365 Insiders can now upload Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and PDF files to Loop workspaces, simplifying their workflow and giving their team all the context it needs to collaborate better.
Here’s how it works.According to the blog post, users can go to their Loop workspace, select the “Upload a file” option, and access files on their device and network shares. They can then select the file (or files) they want to upload to their workspace and choose Open. When the upload is finished, the file(s) will appear alongside other pages and links in the workspace.
The new feature supports uploading Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and PDF files, with individual files limiting themselves to 250 GB in size. Multi-file uploads are also supported—users can select multiple files simultaneously to speed up the process.
Uploaded files are stored in OneDrive for Business underMy files > Loop > Workspace Uploads.
This file upload feature has been fully rolled out to the preview audience of Microsoft Loop users. If you’re a Loop user and don’t have it yet, it’s probably Microsoft, not you. Features are sometimes released over some time to ensure smooth operation.
Feedback is encouraged—Loop users can click the Help button in the bottom right corner of the app to share their thoughts.
