Microsoft is set to release a new version of its Planner app for the web in October. According to the latest entry to the Microsoft 365 Roadmap, this new version will be a single, unified work management experience.
The Redmond-based tech giant will enhance it with even more AI. As you might already know, Microsoft addedCopilot to Planner earlier this year. Still, it seems the new version will integrate Planner with Microsoft Project and possibly the other 365 Apps.
Microsoft says the new version will be simple to navigate, scalable, and intelligent. It will also consider individual task management and professional project management.
Here’swhat the entry says:
The new Microsoft Planner app for the web is a single, unified work management experience. Assisted by AI, it brings together the simplicity of Microsoft To Do, the collaboration of Planner, and the power of Microsoft Project into a simple, scalable, intelligent solution that spans from individual task management to enterprise and professional project management.
We’ll have to wait until October. What are your thoughts about it?
