Microsoft teased the new Paint LiveCanvas a while ago, which is an upcoming AI-based capability on the platform that will allow users to create drawings, sketches, and projects with the help of Artificial Intelligence.
The Paint LiveCanvas were spotted a while ago and they are part of thenew Paint NPU platform, which might be released to Windows 11, later this year.
It’s worth mentioning that this is notCocreator, the existing AI tool that creates images in Paint. No, LiveCanvas is entirely a new concept that not only creates art but interacts with the user, as well.
However, it seems that the Redmond-based tech giant might splash it with some restrictive policies, according to the strings spotted by Windows enthusiast,@PhantomOfEarth.

Paint LiveCanvas can only be used with a Microsoft account, it seems, contrary to Cocreator, which can used without having to log in.

It seems that the capability can run into errors, as well:

And as always, image sizes seem to be a big problem for AI:

So, ultimately, despite the hype around this upcoming advanced AI capability, if we are to take into account these policies, Microsoft would need to work more on the advanced part. While some policies are alright, especially the responsible AI guidelines, the fact that advanced AI technology wouldn’t support a certain image size makes it invaluable right from the start.
The Redmond-based giant should develop Paint LiveCanvas to offer solutions, and complete tasks, not come up with errors.
