Microsoft Edge 130.0.2808.0 has been released to the Dev channel. This browser version includes various fixes and improvements.

First of all,Edge 130 improves general reliability. An issue that could cause the browser to crash when clicking “Permissions and privacy” in the sidebar has been resolved, as has a similar problem that would occur when clicking on the workspace in the Favorites hub after logging out.

When dragging a tab to create a new window on iOS, new windows should now be created without issue, and the ‘Magnify image’ tooltip should now display for the close button.

Edge 130also resolves issues with the Favorites hub. The ‘Open in new…’ button should now display when right-clicking an item in the Favorites hub/panel, and the tab actions menu hub should no longer close after opening a group tab in a new tab within the window card under the tab actions menu.

This release includes multiple other fixes. The banner title should now display normally after right-clicking ‘Show media control’ and hovering over the browser icon. Icons should no longer be missing in the settings under the sidebar. Microsoft recently enhancedthe sidebar with auto-start options.

On Android, a coloured circle icon that would appear in the upper left corner of the tab group has been removed. Issues where the input box wasn’t displaying when editing top site names on Android on the new tab page and where menu items were displayed abnormally in the overflow menu while in InPrivate mode on Android have both been resolved.

Finally, on iOS, an issue where users couldn’t scroll down to view feeds has been resolved, as has an issue where the upper left corner of the profile popover wasn’t rounded in the account panel.
