Chrome is constantly getting new features and improvements, and this is one of the reasons why it’s the best browser on the market.
Speaking of improvements, it seems that Chrome will get another feature that will help users with tab management.
The tab groups pane has been spotted in the desktop version of Chrome
Google added a tab groups pane in the Android version, but it seems that the desktop version is also getting this feature.
This was first spotted by Twitter user Leopeva64:
A few weeks ago Google added a new “tab groups” pane in Chrome for Android, well, Chrome for desktop will have its own version of this pane, it will be a new menu that you can open from the bookmarks bar:https://t.co/jltw7gnlyzpic.twitter.com/SOYBetYIN9
As you can see, this feature will be accessible from the bookmarks bar. Google has a plan to make tab groups in Chrome for Android and the desktop version as similar as possible leading up to syncing between the two.
This feature looks interesting, and hopefully, it should help users better organize their tabs in the future. Unfortunately, we have no information regarding the release date of this feature.
As for other features,Chrome got V8 Sandbox for improved security, andGoogle says that tracking protection in Chrome is ready for rollout.
