Switch 2 will be compatible with Switch games, leaks claim
Backward compatibility is a major selling point for gamers since many want to move away from the next-gen systems but keep their library of games.
If you’re a Nintendo fan, we got some news coming fromXDA Developers, as Switch 2 will be compatible with Switch games, as leaks claim.
This information comes from a Chinese website called BiliBili, and allegedly the insider source has revealed some information about the upcoming console. It says the following:

Second-generation cassettes do not support first-generation consoles
It seems that cartridges from Switch will work on Switch 2, however, Switch 2 games won’t work on the older console, which is expected.
While this information hasn’t been confirmed yet, it would be great to see that you can continue playing your favorites on a next-gen Switch console.
Sadly, there’s not much information about Switch 2, butNintendo allegedly showed off Switch 2 during Gamescom 2023.
We also heard rumors thatSwitch 2 will be on par with Xbox Series X, but this is a bold claim that still needs to be confirmed.
