Qualcomm is famous for its Snapdragon processors, and we’ve seen its CPUs on various devices in the past.
The company has unveiled a new CPU, called Snapdragon X Plus that is intended for Windows ARM PCs.
Qualcomm Snapdragon X Plus announced, has 10 cores and Adreno GPU
This informationcomes from Neowin, and according to them, the Snapdragon X Plus is a ten-core CPU based on Oryon CPU architecture.
Regarding the cores, this model has six performance and four efficiency cores, and it runs at speeds up to 3.4GHz. Regarding the memory, it can support up to 64GB of LPDDR5X RAM.
The CPU is optimized for AI processing thanks to the Neural Processing Unit. The NPU can output up to 45 TOPs of AI performance which should be enough for all your AI needs.
Regarding the GPU, there’s Qualcomm Adreno that will deliver up to 3.8 TFLOPs. It’s also worth mentioning that the GPU can power three external displays at 4K 60Hz HDR, two at 4K 120Hz, or one at 5K 60Hz.
This CPU has joined the Snapdragon X Elite lineup, and it offers similar specs as the Snapdragon X Elite X1E-78-100, albeit with 2 fewer cores. However, other X Elite CPUs outshine the X Plus, but not by much.
