On September 3rd, Intel will launch its “Lunar Lake” Core Ultra CPUs with a presentation at the upcoming IFA event. These new chips are made specifically for laptops and are seen as a direct competition with AMD and Qualcomm products.

According to the official press release, Intel promises that these chips will do things no other processor can do before them, pushing the limits of what we thought was possible in this technology area. Intel’s announcement mentioned showing off the processors’ excellent power efficiency, core performance, and progress in graphics plus AI computing power at the upcoming event.

During the livestreamed event, they will reveal details on the new processors’ breakthrough x86 power efficiency, exceptional core performance, massive leaps in graphics performance and the unmatched AI computing power that will drive this and future generations of Intel products.

With the new Core Ultra processors, Intel and Microsoft could team up forthe Copilot+ PC devicesthat mix artificial intelligence (AI) characteristics into ultraportable laptops. The tech industry expects roughly 80 Windows laptops to have these next-gen CPUs before 2024 ends, and many might sport the new Intel gear.
