StartAllBack, a popular Windows customization tool, now comes with a 100-day free trial. Earlier, it was only 30. But even as the new period comes into effect, many look for ways to reset the StartAllBack trial. Surprisingly, you can do it within minutes!
How do I reset the StartAllBack trial?
Although most of the online tutorials and guides mention that the key follows the{xxxxxxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxxxxxxxxxx}format, in my case, it turned out to be{yyyy yyyy}.
The critical factor to remember is that the key you have to delete won’t have any subkeys and will use lowercase, as opposed to other keys that will have aDefaultIconsubkey and use uppercase.
For anyone wondering how this works,StartAllBackcreates a Registry key at the time of installation and then uses it to identify when the trial period ends. If you delete the key, StartAllBack will create another one but with the present date, thus resetting the trial period.
You can use the trick as many times as you want until the developers find a way around it. But if you can, get the paid license key. It’s only $4.99 and helps the developers keep the app up and running and release regular updates!
As for anyone wondering about the security and privacy of the app, our experts foundStartAllBack to be completely safe. However, since Microsoft is coming down hard onWindows customization tools, you may occasionally come across issues with StartAllBack.
