Microsoft Edge now comes with the ability to export your favorites from the browser to an HTML file. This can come in handy as a backup or for when you want to import to another browser.
How do I export all bookmarks from Edge?
The file is saved in HTML format because most modern browsers support HTML and it would be easier to import without compatibility issues.
To import, simply follow the above steps and this time select Import favorites. You can then select the HTML file you exported and your Favorites will be restored.
