AI is the future, and Google continues to lead the way. After integrating AI features likeHistory Search,Tab Organizer, Help Me Write, and Tab Compare into Chrome, they’re now introducing an AI-powered solution for Chromebooks to troubleshoot Bluetooth issues.

Google recently announcedChromebook Plus devices featuring integrated Google AIlike Gemini and HelpMeWrite, even AI-generated wallpapers. And, the companyconfirmed plansto incorporate more Android into ChromeOS, paving the way for rapid integration of new AI features forfaster and smarter Chromebooks. Building on this, a new AI feature is being prepared.

Most Chromebooks support Bluetooth for devices like keyboards, mice, gaming consoles, and Android phones. However, troubleshooting Bluetooth problems can be frustrating. Google is addressing this with a new AI assistant called BlueBuddy, coming to ChromeOS.

Imagine the frustration of trying to connect wireless headphones that won’t work. Meet Google’s new AI feature is designed to understand and resolve Bluetooth problems, which could be from pairing issues to audio dropouts.

WindowsReport has discovered hints of this AI assistant incommit messages, suggesting it will be accessible from thechrome://bluetooth-internalspage.

The tool, dubbed BlueBuddy, will prompt users toEnter an Issue and I will recommend a fix. The new page itself might be titledTroubleshoot with AI. along with other options available like Adapter, Devices, and Debug logs.

To check if your Chromebook has Bluetooth, click on the status bar and look for the Bluetooth icon. While it’s unclear if BlueBuddy will be available on all Chromebooks or just Chromebook Plus models, visiting chrome://bluetooth-internals will provide clarity once the feature is released. So, the next time you encounter Bluetooth woes, BlueBuddy, your AI companion, will be there to assist you.

Besides this, recently we reported Chromebook toallow disabling trackpad via an accessibility setting. That’s not all. Google is bringing theStylus Handwriting feature powered by Samsung Android Stylusto Chrome on Windows, to offerstrict and balanced modes to get control over warningsyou receive while navigating to insecure sites.

Google is alsodisabling automatic Password generationin Chrome based on reports of over promptings received by users.
