According to a report published byInc.,Microsoft CopilotaidedG&J Pepsi, the largest independent Pepsi bottler with over 1900 employees, to minimize operating costs by 6.6% and increase revenue by 8%.

While discussing Copilot, Microsoft’s principal program managerAndreas Kleinersaid,

Earlier, field logistics associates had to go through several spreadsheets to find the best G&J technicians for repair works and installation. It took considerable time and effort, considering the vast scale and network of operations.

But with Microsoft Copilot, it’s all automated!

The AI-powered Copilot automatically identifies the best person for the job based on skills, availability and location and then sends them all the details via theMicrosoft Field Servicephone app. The app also allows them to summarize the job in concise bullet points.

Besides, G&J technicians can quickly update the job’s status through voice prompts, which helps the back-end team apprise customers in real-time, in addition to registering any other vital information, say parts used or the repair performed.

By integrating Microsoft Copilot,G&J Pepsihas reduced the time between sales agreements and work orders from 2 weeks to 45 seconds, as reported byInc.

Artificial Intelligence is undoubtedly the future, and we will witness increased AI adoption in the coming days. The top player,Microsoft, plans to invest 2.8 billion in Japanto scale up the AI and cloud computing infrastructure. Recently,Microsoft opened an AI Hub in London.
