Ultraportable laptops are usually created for business and have a price tag to match their compact design. The 14-inch multitouch screen HP Dragonfly Pro One had a rather hefty price of $1,399, but now it is hugely discounted to a much friendlytag of $799 at B&H. We usually see $200 – $300 price reductions for laptops from that category so a $600 off is a great find.

Why would I buy HP Dragonfly Pro One?

Why would I buy HP Dragonfly Pro One?

Because it’s worth every penny and you will see why! First, its chassis is made of aluminum and magnesium alloys, making it extremely light (2.42 pounds) and it’s only 0.72 inches thick.

Despite his wasp-like figure, it boasts some serious power under its hood: an 8-Core 2.7 GHz AMD Ryzen 7 7736U CPU, 16 GB of DDR5 RAM and a 512GB SSD for storage. The 14-inch screen features a 1920 x 1200 resolution. We agree it’s not the best out there but it’s a touchscreen display, which makes this laptop a convertible.

The cherry on top is, in fact, the Qualcomm Snapdragon X55 5G modem. That means you can catch the 5G signal and it will be way better than that public Wi-Fi hotspot from the hotel lobby. Add to that success recipe a good battery life, the 5 megapixel webcam ready for Windows Hello biometrics, and the preinstalled Windows 11.

Now, you should also take note about some of its weak points. There is no video-out port or a USB-A port, only three USB-C connectors. An USB hub or dongle will fix that but that’s another investment and thing to carry around.

Still, HP Dragonfly Pro One’s price is really a steal for a business laptop in his category. Jump on the offer because it’s in limited stock.
