Firefox announced its partnership with Qwant on April 4, 2014, a search engine that is renowned for user privacy and tracker blocking.
The Qwant search engine prioritizes privacy and blocks trackers and ads to ensure you get unbiased and thorough search results. This collaboration between Firefox and Qwant aims to provide a more open and inclusive web so that you can make tech choices that align with your values.
In the blog post, Mozilla explains that you can choose the search engine from the Settings panel or right from the Firefox URL bar based on privacy, climate protection, or personal preferences.
With therelease of Firefox 124, you can avail Qwant search engine in all languages in the France region along with Belgium, Italy, Netherlands, Spain, and Switzerland
