Google developers noticed that data copied in Incognito mode in Chrome is being stored in clipboard history and synchronized across all devices.

Microsoft and Google collaborated on this and managed to identify specific formats for Windows and macOS that prevent clipboard data from being shared or included in history.

Google has made certain changes, and the data copied in the Incognito mode will now be treated as private. Here’s how the changes will be implemented across different platforms.

Chome also sets copied data from bookmarks in incognito as private on Windows. As for Mac, the copied bookmark data in Incognito is marked as off the record.

While the bug seems to befixed according to the Chromium developers, we still are waiting for the change to be added to the stable version of Chrome.

As for other security features,Chrome can now detect symbolic links, andGoogle is also testing a feature that will prevent keyboard spyingby websites.
