The first feature allows ChatGPT to use Google Sheets, Docs, Slides, and Microsoft’s Excell, Word, and PowerPoint. In addition, if you give it access to your OneDrive or Google Drive, you will get the option to upload files to it directly. Thus, you won’t need third-party plugins to do it. Also, according to OpenAI, this new feature will allow ChatGPT to perform data analysis better by understanding your files like spreadsheets, presentations, or documents.

ChatGPT can now create interactive and expandable charts and tables. So, now you can see them in full-screen mode. In addition, you can select specific parts of the table to ask for follow-up questions. Also, if you don’t have any, you can use the follow-up prompts suggested by ChatGPT.

According to OpenAI’s example, you can request the AI chatbot to combine multiple spreadsheets containing monthly expenses and then create a pivot table categorized by their types.

You can now use ChatGPT to customize and interact with bar, line, pie, and scatter charts. In addition, you can hover over chart elements, ask additional questions, or choose different colors. Then, you can download the charts to use them wherever you need them. However, ChatGPT will generate static versions for the unsupported charts.
