We saw all sorts of AI improvements during the Build event, such as new features and new devices.
Speaking of new features, Microsoft has just introduced a new, AI-powered gaming feature called Automatic Super Resolution.
Microsoft Automatic Super Resolution will be initially available only on Snapdragon X Elite devices
Many companies have their upscaling feature, and Microsoft decided to join in by releasing its own feature called Automatic Super Resolution.
This feature is designed to enhance the frame rate as well as visual details of existing games in real time. However, as theMicrosoft FAQ pagestates, this feature will be available only to Qualcomm Snapdragon X Elite processors and certain games.
AsExtremeTech writes, this will be only at launch, and we expect to see this feature available on other CPUs as Microsoft plans to partner with AMD and Intel on their Lunar Lake and Strix CPUs.
It’s worth noting that these aren’t gaming devices, butWindows on ARM can achieve around 30FPS in games.
Keep in mind that the platform doesn’t support all titles, but you can use websites such asWorksOnWoA to check if the game works on Windows on ARM.
