Minecraft to finally make its way to PlayStation 5
Minecraft has been available for PS4 for a while, but we never saw a PS5 version. The reason for this was revealed during the legal battle that Microsoft had with Activision Blizzard.
During the hearing, Microsoft was accused of not releasing a PS5 version of Minecraft, but Xbox’s Phil Spencer responded that this was because Sony didn’t provide dev kits to Microsoft.
That seems to be water under the bridge since Minecraft is finally making its way to PS5, asPlayStation LifeStyle claims.
This comes after users on thePS5 subredditfound title IDs for the PS5 version of the Minecraft on PSN backend. Unfortunately, we don’t have any official confirmation from Microsoft or Sony, so be sure to stay tuned to keep up with the latest news.
