Last year, Microsoft announced the closure of theXbox 360 Store,17years after it was first launched. Now, with the closure set forJuly 29, 2024, fast approaching, Microsoft has decided to offer steep discounts, as high as 90%, on games in theXbox 360 Store.
According to apost in theXbox Wire,66games are currently available at discounts, almost all in the75%-90%range.More games will be added to the listonJune 18andJuly 16this year.

The first list of 66 games focuses on titles that are not backward compatible withXbox OneorXbox Series X|Sin a bid to keep them alive after theXbox 360 Storeclosure. We may see similar games being added to the list onJune 18andJuly 16.
Any games purchased during the limited-period sale will remain playable even after the closing of theXbox 360 Store. Besides, you will also be able to play supported titles onXbox OneandXbox Series X|Sthrough backward compatibility
