If you can’t currently access Xbox Live from your Xbob 360 account, you’re not the only one. On Reddit,many usershave been reporting that they’re not able to access the platform. It’s all caused by a bug, which reads:

Your console can’t connect to Xbox Live. Do you want to exist this session and test your network connection? If you are playing a game, you will lose any unsaved progress.

The error still lets Xbox 360 players access games on Xbox Live, but any progress made cannot be saved. But there is good news: if you’re currently dealing with this annoying issue, then you should know that Xbox is already working on fixing it.

The company acknowledged the issue in their latestInsider release changelogs, labeling it as a known issue, stating:

As Xbox Insider patches are released regularly, Xbox 360 users should be able to play their favorite video games in the next few days, most lately, next week.

So, until then, maybe it’s time to make the necessary changesto survive the closure of the Xbox 360 Store, which is happening in a few months.

Xbox 360 Store is coming to an end next year, on July 29, 2024, according to Microsoft. You should also know thatthe Microsoft Movies & TV app will no longer be functionalon Xbox 360 as well, on that date, which means you won’t be able to watch TV or movies on your Xbox 360.
