In the last few days, we have come across a few reports of Windows users finding a Minecraft-themed desktop wallpaper. On subsequent reboots, the problem seems to disappear, but only after leaving everyone thoroughly confused. And instances of the bug keep increasing with each passing day!
So far, Microsoft hasn’t officially acknowledged the bug or shared a patch.
The problem with such bugs is that they are awfully similar to a successful hacking attempt. When threat actors gain access to your PC, you often see a different desktop wallpaper. And this time too, a similar pattern is observed, although it’s not a result of hacking.
